Large state-of-the-art measuring machine

Norma MPM has extended its measuring capacity significanly by investing in a measuring machine for bulky products with a critical tolerance.

Customers are asking for increasingly larger products, while the tolerance requirements are also increasing. To be able to keep controlling quality well enough, Norma MPM has invested in a Zeiss measuring machine with a length of 3.50 m, a width of 2.50 m and a height of 4.30 m. The machine’s X axis is 1600, its Y axis 2400 and its Z axis is 1400 mm.

The new measuring machine can not only be equipped with a regular sensor head, but also with a camera, laser and swivel sensor.

As the new machine operates with the same procedure and software as our other measuring machines, it can be deployed at times of high work load as well. With this expansion of the measuring capacity, Norma MPM aims to accommodate its customers even better and faster.
